Despite a bit of a shaky start due to incorrect measurements, Darren stepped in and the rest of the process went smoothly. What a great bunch of people. Always happy to answer a multitude of questions over the phone or on site during a survey, before taking the plunge to go Solar. The scaffolding guys were great too, turning up the day before the panels & electrical equipment were due to be fitted. On the day the roofers (fitting the panels) and the electrical installers ran through the process and we ended up with all 12 panels on one house roof, rather than on two. Any questions on the day were readily answered by Joe, who was installing batteries and the inverter along with his two assistants and the system was up and running by the end of the day! Brilliant. Solar Install at Queen Elizabeth School
Lakes Solar recently supplied and installed 228 panels at QUEEN ELIZABETH SCHOOL (QES) (KIRKBY LONSDALE) free of charge.
The installation was part of a PPA (power purchase agreement). The school receives free panels and equipment plus benefit from 100% of the power generated from the system.
The installation has been a great success and sets a great example to the children of how important renewable energy is to us all.
The children are keen to understand and explore how the system works, what it can generate and what the carbon benefits will be. Lakes Solar will work with the school to help map out to the children exactly what benefits the system has delivered.
Lindal Bowling Club Solar Install
Lakes Solar recently supplied and installed solar panels at Lindal Bowling Club free of charge.
The committee at Lindal bowling club are a well organised, forward-thinking team and were very keen to push on with the project.
The bowling club is a great community hub and will benefit no end from installed panels.
Arnside National Primary School Solar Install
Whilst the children of Arnside National Primary School were off school enjoying a weekend break, Lakes Solar took the opportunity to sneak in and install a brand-new solar system to surprise the children on their return to school.
The solar system looks great and gives a fantastic message to staff, children, and parents.
The system was fully installed in one day and is live and generating renewable energy for the benefit of the school.
What a lovely little project and well-done to Arnside National Primary School for taking the step forward to solar power.
