ROOFER / SOLAR PANEL INSTALLER

Job Title: Solar Panel Installer / Roofer

Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience

The Role:

As a Solar Panel Installer / Roofer, you will play a key role in helping clients reduce their carbon footprint by installing solar energy systems. You’ll be working as part of a dynamic team, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of solar panels on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install solar panels on rooftops, ground mounted systems, and other structures.

  • Carry out roof preparation, including mounting system installation.

  • Assess roof conditions and ensure structural suitability for solar panels.

  • Collaborate with electricians and project managers to complete installations.

  • Maintain high safety standards and comply with all regulations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues.

  • Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a roofer or solar panel installer (preferred but not essential – training provided).

  • Comfortable working at heights and with physical tasks.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.Full UK driving licence preferred, but not essential.

SOLAR ELECTRICIAN

Job Title: Solar Electrician

Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience

The Role:

As a Solar Electrician, you will play a key role in helping clients reduce their carbon footprint by installing solar energy systems. You’ll be working as part of a dynamic team, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of solar inverters and battery storage systems on residential and commercial properties. You will also be responsible for the installation of all associated electrical components, including domestic installation works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ⁠Installing, wiring, and commissioning solar PV systems (domestic and commercial).

  • Conducting electrical inspections, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and safety standards.

  • Collaborating closely with other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

  • Providing excellent customer service and clear explanations to clients regarding system operation.

  • Reporting directly to the Installation Director, you will work closely with a dedicated team of experienced Solar Electricians. We will provide upfront and ongoing training to help you progress and grow within the company where required

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3.

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

  • Experience with solar PV installations (preferred but not essential—training provided).

  • Full UK driving license.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
